BIO
Emma Stanton was born and raised in upstate New York. She currently holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the University at Buffalo, where she focused her artistic energy towards painting and printmaking. Emma draws inspiration from her lived experiences as well as from the structures that make up life. This has manifested into an exploration of body parts, including facial features, organs, all the way down to the cells that comprise these parts.
Emma is presently a Resident Artist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center where she works with patients and caregivers to create an artistic distraction from their battle with cancer. She has shown her work multiple times at the University at Buffalo’s Center for the Arts galleries and is an emerging artist in the Buffalo area.
